Now known (since 1977) as The Moonraker

The Locomotive was owned by Southdown & East Grinstead Brewery, latterly sold to Tamplins, which in turn, became part of Watneys.

Hazelwick School

Hazelwick School

Address: Hazelwick School Close, Three Bridges, RH10 1SX

Opened: 1953 as a Secondary Modern School

New buildings were added in 1959, becoming a "Bilateral & Grammar" school 1960-1 and a "comprehensive" by 1964, when further new buildings were added. 
Hazelwick was Crawley's first trust school in 2009 and went on to become West Sussex's first Academy school on 1st August 2011.

Built / Opened: 11th August 1977

Formerly known as The Locomotive (1905 - 1977)

After a refurbishment, during which the original public & saloon bars were knocked into one large bar, a competition was held to rename the pub, the winning name being The Moonraker.
